The Triund trek is the most popular and enjoyful trek if you’re just starting out. The route for this trek is very peaceful and enjoy-fully. We urge you to spend a night at the top. The trail to Triund is short but stiff. The steep climb is well-compensated by refreshing walks among "red tree" and "oak trees". There are also various birds in the forest along the trail which make it a birding delight. The trek offers you some of the best and amazing views with the very little climb. You don’t have to go deep into a valley like the region of Kasol or climb for multiple days to get some best views. You can start the Trek from Dharmkot or Bhagsunag. The 9 KM trek from Dharmkot takes you through from Galu Devi Temple. You will witness some of the most beautiful views of the valley, and the sight of the HPCA stadium from a bird eye view will take your breath away! After a few steep steps through the forest, you will reach the rich grassland of Triund Top. The sight of the snow covered mountains so close will make your weariness go away! We will go further to Ilaka Glacier to get more panoramic views of the Kangra Valley. Night camping at Triund is one of the best camping experiences you will ever have. Sleep underneath the blanket of a milky sky and admire the dark blue sky which is a rare sight in the cities.
